Services

PI PARTNER helps principal investigators and independent research sites connect study requirements with budgets and financial terms. Our two services address different stages of that work and can be combined where the agreed assignment requires it.

The starting point is your question: what will the study require from the site, or how should that work be reflected in the financial agreement? We clarify the information available, the decisions you need to make and the outputs that would help your team.

Protocol analysis and study budgeting

Protocol requirements can create work across investigators, coordinators, pharmacy, administration and other site functions. The budget should reflect the relevant work, including activities outside scheduled participant visits where applicable.

We organise the requirements into activities, roles, frequencies and cost drivers. We then use the inputs agreed with your team to develop a budget structure. Where information is incomplete, the assumption or question is recorded rather than presented as a confirmed fact.

This service can help you identify work that has no clear budget treatment, distinguish recurring from one-off activities and understand what a protocol change adds to the site's responsibilities. It does not replace clinical feasibility assessment or your team's operational decisions.

Contracts and financial negotiation

The financial value of a budget is affected by the conditions attached to payment. A fee may be present while its trigger, supporting documentation or treatment at early termination remains unclear.

We examine financial and operational terms within the agreed scope. Issues are organised by their practical effect, the clarification needed and a proposed position. This supports a focused discussion with the sponsor or CRO and gives your team a record of open and resolved points.

The service covers financial analysis and negotiation support. It does not provide regulated legal advice or replace the review of legal provisions by a qualified adviser. You retain authority to approve positions and enter into agreements.

What the work can include

The proposal defines the deliverables. Depending on the assignment, these may include a structured budget, an activity map, an assumptions record, a financial issues matrix and a handover of decisions and unresolved questions. We do not describe every possible output as included in every engagement.

Before work begins, we clarify which information your team will provide, who can approve a position and how document versions will be exchanged. Sponsor documents are accepted only through an agreed channel and within the applicable permissions. They must not be submitted through the website.

A shared working process

We first clarify the need, then agree the scope and document exchange arrangements. We prepare the analysis, review it with the people responsible for the study and hand over the agreed outputs. Where the assignment includes negotiation support, the responsibilities and approval route are made explicit.

No service includes a guaranteed financial result, a promised success rate or a claim to a proprietary fair market value database. Our role is to make the basis of the discussion clearer and easier to examine.
